It turns out that all you have to do is create a new environment variable
BI_ORACLE_HOME and give the value of your middleware install ..\Oracle_BI1 directory.
You then need to restart the service and ..... yay.

bicontentserver(11.1.1) down - an update and fix
Following on from a previous post here.
It turns out that all you have to do is create a new environment variable
BI_ORACLE_HOME and give the value of your middleware install ..\Oracle_BI1 directory.

bicontentserver(11.1.1) down
Has anyone come across the following
The bicontentserver is down. This is from a simple install with all componebts under AdminServer on 7001. If we do an Enterprise install , there are no problems.
I have followed this problem and there are hints that it could be something to do with missing environment variables when creating services, I remain to be convinced.
